If I could leave this hotel zero stars I would have. First, the elevator was broken. Which luckily my partner and I can walk up the stairs but nobody informed us of this prior to our stay and I’m concerned what would have happened if we were disabled in some way and couldn’t use the stairs to get to our room on the 3rd or 4th floor (don’t recall which one). Next, we went into our room to check it out before actually bringing our stuff in. The lights wouldn’t turn on and then when we got the bathroom light on and a lamp in the room we noticed a giant crack in the bathroom ceiling as well as how dirty everything looked. Actual dust on the surfaces and dirty windows and bathroom. We went down to the front desk to ask for a new room and they gave us another room which we still thought was dirty but it was late and we called all other hotels in the area to find a new hotel but everything was booked that night. (There was some kind of tournament in the area). Well our window seal was broken and it looked moldy in the second room, there was hair on the bedding, and didn’t look like it had been vacuumed or anything besides a bed just being made. We were so disgusted we only took our shoes off to get in bed. We left as early as possible the next morning to get out of there. I have already made sure to tell multiple people traveling this way to avoid this hotel. I have pictures of the issues and plan to eventually post a review on line to warn others.

The location is the no. 1 reason to go there. It is very easy to reach from the highway. even if one arrives from the highway late at night, it is no problem, it is so easy to get there. The place is quiet, safe and everything. It is a medium-budget hotel, with limited extras. At the reception, people are friendly and helpful. We were there in winter; it seems best to eat out. Restaurants are close by. I would go back there any time.

My stay was ok, it was our wedding night. I emailed a few days before asking if they did anything special for that, I never received a reply. Once we got to the hotel, the check in was easy, we got to the room, it was clean; however the fridge was not working, the outlets were not working and the jacuzzi was not working either. They sent a person to fix it and they change some parts but after he left the water was still draining. We called again and got a room switch. The room was a bit smaller but everything was working and it was clean as well. This all happened in the first few hours so we were not able to relax or anything until we changed rooms mind you it was our wedding night so the last thing we wanted was to wait for a long period of time for things to get fixed or moved. We went to get water but they did not have any in the machines and they were not able to sell us bottled water in the bar. Host was nice enough but sadly I would not return to this location. The hotel has a lot of potential.
