“We had a wonderful stay and found everything as described.”

“Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two……

“The property was exactly as advertised and was perfect for a family of 4 although 5 would have been just as good. The owner was easy to communicate with and super helpful. Can’t overstate how much we enjoyed our stay here. ”

“Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!”

“Wonderful experience staying at the property. One suggestion for the owners is to provide instructions on the use of appliances particularly those appliances that are unique to Europe e.g. the combination washer- dryer, hot water heater in the shower etc. we figured it out eventually but a how to booklet would have been helpful.”

“Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.”

“Very pleasant stay at Jacks place. Very cosy and homely house. Great location to all amenities. Front bedroom slightly noisy due to road noise but didn't bother us. Diffently will rebook again .”

“We absolutely loved our time at The Snug. We went to Slieve League cliffs one day (beautiful not to be missed!)Donegal town one day and had a delicious meal at the Blueberry Cafe and explored the town and Donegal Castle. We ordered food from TJs takeaway and ate in Mac's pub. ( Edel is an absolute angel) We went to the Marina Cafe in Killybegs 2 times. Everyone was so so friendly!! We loved our little place in Dunkineely....we felt like locals. Everyone knew of it when we shared where we were……
