“This was our first trip to Ireland and Josie and Brian’s property was our first stop during our travels for a stay of 5 nights. “It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. “Just as described. Sheep and cows on property. We traveled before the drain had started so very cold. Space heater wasn't much help. Peet stove helped, but the lighter didn't work when we tried to relight fire in the middle of the night. There were hot water bottles to use which were actually a huge help. “Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. ”
