“We took an extended trip to Ireland and wanting to see multiple parts of the country opted to stay in the midlands. My husband found this listing on VRBO and we booked it. Best decision of the trip. This is a lovely home with a location that made it convenient to visit several other counties in the country. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was present, including some food items stocked upon our arrival which meant we didn’t have to go right out and shop. That wasn’t expected but much……

“We were in Ireland to drop our daughter off at UCD. We wanted a family home to stay in to relax, spend time together and be comfortable. This was the perfect place. We will be back again when we pick her up. It is beautifully decorated, next to adorable villages and we greeted the sheep every morning. Such a lovely home that we are sad to leave. ”

“Sfeervol en heel netjes. Gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Super leuk om bij een echt iers landhuis te verblijven met alle hedendaagse gemakken. Maynooth is leuke plaats, universiteitsgebouw heel mooi, veel winkels en mogelijk om met trein naar Dublin te gaan. ”

Excellent location, too. Newbridge is close and provides all the amenities you could ever want. Dublin airport is an easy 40-minute drive away.”

“Una and Pat are great hosts. The lodging was absolutely wonderful. The village was quiet and peaceful and Tom enjoyed talking with the locals. Dinner at Weirs Pub and Restaurant was delightful. If we ever come back to Ireland, we would definitely make this a stop on our itinerary and stay longer next time! ”

“Trim Castle Cottage was a great place to stay when we visited the Trim area. We not only visited Trim, but also Newgrange and my wife’s ancestors’ home area in Westmeath. This made the location of the cottage perfect. The cottage itself had a spot to park the car, which was a must have. It was immaculately clean and very functional for the two couples on the trip. We would definitely rent again when we visit Trim in the future. ”
