“I was captivated by the photos and the description of this property when I was looking for a quiet country spot for us to return to the Wild Atlantic Coast for my Christmas-Birthday. It is actually the only one I reviewed…you had me at hello! Though rustic, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed interacting with the sheep, working dogs, and neighbors as we took long strolls down the very narrow lane. The proprietor was friendly and……

From the host's unobtrusive but warm welcome, to the comfortable yet elegant home itself, including daily fresh eggs(!), our time in Galway County and at our home away from home was absolutely wonderful. ”

Nach einen langen Tag lädt die Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Teich zum Entspannen ein, am Abend kann man den Sternenhimmel beobachten sofern es das Wetter es zulässt. Die Stadt Clifden ist ca. 5 Km entfernt dort kann man sich mit allen notwendigen wie z.B. Lebensmitteln versorgen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.”

We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. Plenty to do in the area - hiking, shopping, great food at local restaurants, convenient grocery shopping. Thanks to the owners. A great memory. ”

“I had a wonderful time in roundstone. The apartment was clean and everything was perfect. The view was absolutely amazing. The water boiler in the bedroom might be a bit disturbing for light sleepers but I had no problems. ”

“Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! ”

“We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……
