“Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“This property was ideal for our stay in Ballater for the annual walking festival. The house was well appointed, comfortable, warm and had everything we needed for a most enjoyable holiday. ”

“Had a wonderful stay, house is in the perfect location. Great wee pub around the corner! House is quirky but everything you would need. Hot tub was a great bonus especially as some of the party had just walked 54 miles in the Cateran Yomp👣. Would definitely book this property again.”

“Great property and peaceful location. Beautiful view and easy parking. The bed was very comfortable and I had a brilliant nights sleep every night. The BBQ is a good size and easy to clean. The owner was very prompt in answering any questions I had and check-in was very easy. However a couple of points would improve the experience. The shower is very small for the average person which is disappointing when you're using it regularly before either going into the hot tub or when using the sauna.……

“Property was as described, spacious and perfect for the nine of us that stayed there. October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well. Easy check in with details sent to us by the host on the morning of check in. I had a couple of queries ahead of our visit and had prompt responses and he checked that we had everything We needed during our stay. Would definitely return should we have……

“Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house”

“EXCELLENT GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT. HANDY ACCESS AT BACK GATE TO OUR CAR WHICH WAS PARKED AT THE SIDE. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, PLENTY OF HOT WATER AND ALL MOD CONS. EDZELL IS A LOVELY SMALL TOWN WITH SOME GREAT WALKS NEARBY. EMILY WAS A PERFECT HOST WHO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US ON ARRIVAL. WE WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN STAYING HERE AGAIN.”
