“Wonderful rustic cottage with lots of space, beautiful woodwork inside, in a wonderful setting. Waking up to the sound of birds, then strolling down to the river on a tree covered path reinforces your feeling of well being. Kitchen well equipped. Good hot shower. One warning, there are lots of steps outside which were not a problem at all for me and I am over 70years old, but could be for someone else.”

“This is a really beautiful, modern home in a quiet and peaceful redwood forest, while still being less than a 10 minute drive from groceries, dining, etc. The kindness and generosity of the host cannot be overstated. We loved our stay!”

“My husband and I wanted to get away and found this gem. I’m picky about cleanliness and this place was IMMACULATE! We appreciated all of the attention to detail throughout. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after hiking. Loved the hammock. And the nod to pulp fiction in the bedroom. Lexi is incredibly responsive and friendly and every detail was noted. “Very clean, pet friendly, cool inside cabins. Outside the pool was very clean and refreshing. I would stay here again. ”

“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time.……

“Lovely place to stay right in the heart of Guerneville. Nice upgrades and lovely decor. Wonderful and private rear outdoor area with hot tub, ping pong, firepit and a great dining area. Also a nice deck with seating around the front ..great for sipping a glass of wine.Beds were super comfy, Bathrooms were very nice. There were special touches and extras throughout the house.Everything was very clean and it was super comfy!I would highly recommend booking Katy's place - you will love it!”

“Lovely area, close to river, shaded, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay :) ”

“Aside from the patio furniture that was not cleaned and a bit weathered, the overall stay was great. The listing said to bring charcoal for the grill, but it wasn’t necessary because there was a propane grill and I also received an email the day of our arrival that charcoal was not allowed. I called the property manager to clarify this, but they never got back to me. Inside the cabin was very clean and cozy. ”

“We had an amazing time gazing at the trees, listening to the nearby creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. We needed a relaxing getaway and couldn’t have picked a better property for that purpose. Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can.”
