“Location very good for Caerleon. Clean and spacious ”

“Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails.”

“We stayed here with the family for my dads 60th birthday, there was 10 adults and 4 children and everyone had the most amazing time. The property is beautiful and located in the common that provides wildlife and stunning views. The host Catherine was really helpful and the communication was great! The neighbours Anne and John and their son recommended a stunning walk to watch the sunset and even let us into their home to see the local badger out of the window. This was honestly the best UK……

“Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……

“Overall impression was that it was lovely, a beautiful position with views across the valley. The cottage was obviously well maintained and with everything had been thought about. There were lots of places to go and to walk all not far from the cottage. Some lovely pubs close by serving good food and dogs welcome. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! ”

“This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours. Lots to do in the area and good food to be had in local pubs. The property is always comfortable and spotlessly clean. We love that the property is surrounded by the big meadows even if the grasses and dandelions were……

“The beds were comfortable, and as 3 friends, it was great to have a room each and nice space.The living area was spacious and comfortable too, and lots of space in the kitchen for food preparation and cooking. It was just a very short walk to nature, a really lovely area to be in.We'd gave preferred the hot tub a bit warmer, we couldn't turn it up, but of course, if we were that bothered about it we'd have contacted the hosts.”
