“We had a wonderful spring break stay at the cottage. The house is charming and well equipped with everything you need. We were very pleased with the short walk to the grocery, the parks, the river, shopping, and restaurants, with a short 30-minute drive to ski Monarch.The pet-friendly accommodations were very important to us, and our dog appreciated the large yard.We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the sun. We will definitely return in the fall for hiking.”

“The house was roomy and comfortable! Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We were mesmerized by the river and mountain views and sitting outside watching the sunset was beautiful! We will definitely return, it was a wonderful getaway!”

“Property was located perfect for easy access to downtown Salida. Surface cleaning was good but a deep clean of furniture and underneath is needed. Internet worked well but did crash several times and needed rebooting of router. There are multiple levels leading to the living area and one of the bedrooms, seemingly due to it being a converted carport. The levels didn't pose too many problems but not apparent from the property description or pictures. Despite the few minor issues, we would stay……

“Our family felt right at home in this cozy and comfortable rental. Living room had relaxing chairs. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is also great, just 1/2 mile from downtown shopping and restaurants.”

“Perfect size house to stay and relax in with all amenities thought of. Ideal location within minutes to walk to restaurants and shopping. Nice to have off street parking and a huge back yard. 10/10, would do again. ”

“We stayed in this pristine VRBO (3 bdrms) for 5 nights. It is cozy, very clean and a close drive or bike ride to everything in Salida. They even have bikes available to ride. The king size bed that I slept in, was SOOO comfortable. Everyone else liked their beds too. Each bedroom has its own attached full bathroom. That is amazing! If we head to Salida again, we won't look anywhere else. This is our spot.Thanks so much!”

“First-immaculate! This adorable house is both tastefully and charmingly furnished and decorated! The owners obviously had the renters’ comfort and pleasure in mind when they artfully created the warm vibe of this little but spacious retreat. Many amenities and great storage space. Host was very assessable, responsive and helpful. Walking distance to downtown Salida! Definitely hope to stay here again!!”
