“We stayed at this property over our Spring Break, and we found it to be cozy and exactly as listed. Sadly, we couldn’t get much hiking or fishing in due to the rain but the cabin was stocked with plenty of things to occupy the time. We loved the screened in porch, and we spent lots of time out there with our pup who came along. The small towns nearby offered some cute shops and food. ”

“Very nice large home and area! Little outdated and odd not to have any usb/usb-c/smart plugs for devices/phones anywhere in 2500 square feet especially for 2025. Large garden tub and towel warmer were a treat after long days of driving/spending time with family. Something also not listed in description was that the owner’s car was parked outside in driveway most of our stay. At first we thought it was someone else in driveway but then found out it was the owner’s car. Then we were wondering if……

“Very cute inside and out. Asked that the hot tub be turned up - it was not. We were also charged 339 twice in error. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.”

“We loved our stay at this house. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable and a great place to relax. There is a nice fire pit area by a running creek which adds a great ambience. 5 mins away is food/ groceries. The owner did a great job in proactively reaching out with instructions and would quickly answer any question we had. We would definitely stay here again when we come to Spencer/ Bloomington. ”

“We used the property after traveling for day viewing the covered bridges. Cooked dinner at the property and relaxed on back deck facing lake. ”

“Cute little house. Clean and comfortable. Only thing I’d note is where you stay is on 2nd floor, and the staircase is extremely steep, with short treads and some hand holds instead of railing and only on one side. Carrying gear up and down the staircase is sketchy. There is almost no cell service so I had to walk a ways down the drive to get a single bar in order to open the app and get my message with the code to open the front door of the house. I would recommend screen shotting the message……

“We needed a home that would sleep 8 women with 2 bathrooms, large living space, well stocked kitchen and free parking for 4 vehicles…this home checked off every box and MORE! Very clean home in a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of space to play, sleep and cook meals. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Kitchen included everything we needed to prepare meals. Great communication with host. We will definitely return to this property!”

“Our entire family joins me in praising this home. We flew to Indiana from three locations to see a graduation from Indiana University in Bloomington. There are almost no hotels anywhere Bloomington. We were resigned to staying in three hotel rooms in Indy when we found this home. Both this home and Indy are about 70 minutes from the campus.This place has lots of space for our big family, Clean, modern, super quiet. Great condition. Comfy beds.
