“Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring……

“Cottage was just as good as it looked in the photos. Very clean and pleasant, tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a month's stay was provided including plenty of linens/towels, roomy washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Easy access to the lake where we enjoyed swimming and canoeing. A short distance to the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum made for an excellent destination for daily walks that included some stops at the "Bread Shed" on the way to get some delicious breads……

“Our stay in Old Saybrook was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We loved the cozy coastal vibe, and the amenities were above and beyond—everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy beds was thoughtfully provided. (Laundry too!)The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the beach, the town center, and local favorites like Pasta Vita. “Lovely cottage on beautiful Lake Hayward. Very clean, comfortable accommodations and the view of the lake is stunning. The bathroom was newly renovated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make and serve our meals. The host was very responsive and kind. “Everything about this house was great! It was spotless, and pleasing to the eye. Everything in the house was “top of the line”. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. I had brought a bag of coffee as most rentals have regular coffee pots. When I saw the Keurig, I was ready to go buy some pods. “The property was exactly as advertised and what we needed for a two night stay for a graduation. It was economical and accommodated 5 people comfortably. The interior is a bit dated, but clean. We did not spend much time at the property, so it worked well for us. The beds were a bit hard, but functional for two nights.”
