“All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. “We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lorraine's flat. When we weren't out and about (and getting blown off the golf course by 30 mph winds!) we watched the gannets diving for food just off shore, and the shipping traffic back and forth from Edinburgh. The view of Bass Rock is outstanding.The flat is compact, but it had everything we needed. Besides the Beachfront location, its also an easy walk into town for restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again if we come back to North Berwick”

“Great stay and location during the Fringe by the sea festival. Flat is great, spacious and welcoming. It can be a bit noisy outside with deliveries appearing to the local businesses first thing so wouldn’t recommend if you want a lie in but we wanted to be up and about early so didn’t affect us.”

“This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!”
