“Lavern’s Place was the perfect for my Ocho Rios trip. It’s super clean, safe, and located in a quiet area just a walk away from downtown and the beach. I went for a morning jog and felt totally at ease — even passed kids on their way to school. The AC worked great and the views from the room were a bonus, including the nice pool! The host was great too, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!”

“This is a small hotel on a main street in Ocho Rios. The hotel is very clean. The rooms seem recently updated and the bathroom is nice. The air conditioning works almost too well and the hot water is hot which is a good thing. The Jamaican breakfast was good and we had dinner there one night and it was good. We enjoyed our stay!”

“I liked this property, the staff, cleaning crew and the security were very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean daily and linens replaced. Other than the mishap i had being locked in the bathroom due to a defective door, i had quiet a pleasant stay. I would visit this place again. ”

“The apartment was nothing like the pictures on the website. The Housekeeper said that she cleaned the apartment, however, there were cobwebs and dirt under the beds that I had to wipe and clean the apartment. We got spider bites everywhere. The air conditioner in the living room and upstairs bedroom are not working and both TV do not work. This was a horrible experience during a time when I went for a funeral. It was depressing and very disappointing”

“I never got to stay at this property, although my credit card was billed to stay at this property. I was redirected to another motel (Sandcastle Resort) in the area due to no availability. The hotel I was redirected to was clearly not aware of my reservation or my presence. Nothing in the room was prepared for guest arrival. Spiders and cobwebs were in every common area, which shows no one did the basic cleaning and upkeep. There was no running water every day from 12am-2pm! I couldn't shower or……
