“The house was cozy and warm, and lovely and quiet. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). Definitely would recommend……

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“Everything was perfect! Really clean, really quality natural way built property! Quite and amazing! Amazing experience with the waterfalls within short distance and all Nature around! I have to mention and our new friend The Black Cat , so friendly and lovely!Recommended!”
