Comfortable Stay with Friendly Housekeeping, but Cramped for Families
My family and I recently stayed at Motel 6 College Station and overall found it to be a good, budget-friendly option—especially during a busy event weekend. The two beds in our room were comfortable, but the space felt a bit tight: they sat very close to each other and the walls, which will worked fine for two adults but left us feeling quite cozy as a family of four.
The bathroom was average in size, though the tub itself was generously proportioned and perfect for unwinding after a long day. Housekeeping was consistently friendly and went out of their way to help with any requests. The front-desk staff were professional and efficient, but their warm welcome was a bit on the reserved side—they answered all our questions but didn’t go out of their way to make us feel at home.
In the end, Motel 6 College Station delivered solid service at an affordable rate, though it wasn’t our first choice. If you’re traveling as a couple or solo, you’ll likely find it quite comfortable; families should be prepared for tighter quarters. I’m grateful for the helpful service and would consider returning under the right circumstances.
