“This lovely home was just perfect. Cosy and inviting right by the beach and grateful we could enjoy this with our dog. The views from the master just so relaxing and blissful to listen to the waves at night, and watch the sun rise. Birdlife galore, sweet garden and everything you could need, or a cafe just a five min bike ride away. Not flashy, but luxury in all the good ways! Thank you!”

Als wir jedoch angekommen sind, haben wir ein Haus angetroffen, welches nicht mehr gepflegt wird. Mit Ausnahme der Küche und dem Bett, war es teils klebrig staubig und es hatte überall Spinnweben. “We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. ”

“We had a nice time in Takaka and exploring the area. Comfy beds and a good size place for a family holiday. The house and surrounding gardens needed a bit of TLC.
