The first couple days of our stay were good, when we finally, after a week, wanted our room cleaned it took them 5 days to get it done, nearly at the end of our vacation. After I had verified with them every day that it needed to be done. The last time I went to the front desk, frustrated but not being rude or yelling, the staff member didn't even apologize, was rude to me and promised she could not guarantee any service would be done. That she would add us to the list, something that had been done repeatedly and still our room wasn't cleaned.
We had to take out our own garbage, go get towels twice, go get toilet paper because we ran out. We ended up doing more to clean our own room than they did. They became vindictive and specifically cleaned the other room we had reserved but not ours. When they finally cleaned our room they did a poor job, not providing any clean towels, and more. I sent an email to the assistant manager, who on the 3rd day promised the room would be cleaned, and the best I got was an email saying I'm sorry but because you booked through Expedia we can't give you any money back and we'll try to do better.
We also had trouble with our room keys working. We arrived on May 10 and by the 14th, our room keys stopped working. We had to go back twice a day for three days to get them fixed because they kept putting in wrong checkout day - May 14, check out was May 21. Even after we confirmed it, leaving my elderly parents standing outside at midnight waiting.
