Your mountain getaway on 30 pristine acres! Beautiful home with hottub, stream.

This mountain home sits on 30 beautiful, wooded acres just South of Hwy 24. It sits high on a hill above the abandoned Colorado Midland Railroad from the 1800’s. Nestled in the pines, it overlooks a stream with several Beaver ponds and visiting wildlife. Feel complete privacy with no other houses in view yet easy access to all local attractions. Close to world class flyfishing at Eleven Mile Canyon, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Spinney Mountain Reservoir and the Dream Stream.
The interior features 1900 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and large picturesque floor to ceiling windows in the spacious living room. A stone accent gas fireplace with 50" plasma TV above, completes the space. The home is superior in quality, featuring warm colors and comfortable furnishings. With the open concept, it is cozy enough for 2, but roomy enough for the whole family. You’ll enjoy cooking your meals in the large, modern, well stocked kitchen or grilling on the deck. Enjoy the Views from the 3 tiered deck or stargaze after a long day of outdoor activities in the 6 person Hot Tub.

As long time pet owners we would love for you to be able to bring your 4 legged family member along. Please advise us of the number and breed of dog you would plan to bring as we do have some restrictions and house rules that allow us to keep our home in pawsitive shape.

We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway has a few ups and downs, so we do recommend a 4 wheel drive for the winter and spring months.

Gorgeous, well stocked, spacious
The property and location are absolutely stunning. Inside the home is clean, comfortable and beyond accommodating! We traveled with a 1.5 year old and were so grateful to discover the hosts provided a baby gate, high chair, and even more child friendly amenities Basically anything you could possibly need was supplied in the house! We absolutely would love to stay here again!

This location was amazing! Definetly bring chains or have a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle. I cooked most of our meals and they provided everything as far as pots, pans & silverware. Hottub was a bonus. Great house and property

Amazing, Again!
This was our second time staying at this property - for a reason. It's a wonderful cabin, secluded, extremely clean and close to everything we want to do. Kyle is an amazing host - very responsive and attentive. My wife and I are already planning our next trip and will be staying here again. Beautiful cabin
Beautiful cabin in the mountains. Very clean, well stocked & great location. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Stargazing was incredible out the front door. It was a great home base for exploring Pikes Peak & Colorado Springs.

Overall the house was great! Especially the hot tub 🙂 The entire family was in it every night spending quality time with each other. However the only thing we didn’t like is the traffic noise from the near by highway, which was busy over Labor Day weekend.

The house and property are at the end of a road, mostly private. No others around, but you are looking down on Hwy 24. The house is well kept and had just about anything you might need available. We were looking for some downtime and this was a fantastic place to stay for relaxing.

Beautiful mountain cabin
The cabin was exactly what I was hoping it would be for our first mountain vacation and we loved exploring the property with our dogs. The cabin is very clean and has all the conveniences of home...wifi, cell service, satellite TV, ect. We cooked most of our meals there and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The location is very conveniently located to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs as well as all of the other outdoor activities in the area. Check in and check out were also very easy. I would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area in the future.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway with Family Fun
Our recent stay at this mountain cabin was a delightful escape, offering both relaxation and adventure. Our boys had a blast exploring the expansive property, which was teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot deer, beavers, and chipmunks, making the experience truly memorable. The cabin's location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, allowing us to enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and local sights. However, there were a few drawbacks. The cabin is closer to the highway with more traffic than we expected, so there was more road noise than anticipated. Despite this, the property still maintained a sense of privacy. The living room windows face west, which caused the cabin to heat up during the day. We found that opening the windows at night and welcoming the afternoon rain helped cool things down. One minor issue was the upstairs mattress, which seemed to be nearing the end of its comfort life. Overall, our stay was wonderful, with more pros than cons. We'd recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a mountain retreat with plenty of wildlife and easy access to local attractions.

Great stay
Perfect location with easy, beautiful drives to Colorado Springs and Canon City for all of our vacation activities. Kids loved sitting in the hot tub watching birds and chipmunks! Great area for relaxing walks or just sitting on the porch. Cabin was well stocked with necessities and convenience items.

Perfect place
Loved the house, easy to get to and had a perfect view. It was along highway but noise was minimal and didn’t bother us at all. I was concerned that it didn’t have air conditioner but we kept house shades drawn why we were away during day and opened it up in evening and it was perfect. I highly recommend this beautiful home, it definitely spoke Colorado. When we travel that way again we will be staying there, beautiful and peaceful. PS: the water from the tap was the best water any of us have ever had. Just a bonus.

Beautiful mountain view getaway
Beaver lodge was so private and serene. We enjoyed grilling steaks on the grill and the house had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching deer walk nearby. We sat on the porch to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the hummingbirds. The location was perfect and not too far from so many attractions such as pikes peak, garden of the gods, manitou springs, seven falls, 11 mile canyon and cripple creek. The views, weather and location made these Texans want Colorado to be our yearly escape from the heat. We will definitely visit again.
