“I had a very good experience at this cozy hotel. My room was clean and the décor was very unique. The service was excellent—the young lady who attended to us was very kind. The hotel is located next to the train tracks, and during the early morning you could hear the train passing by, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. Plus, they provide earplugs in the room in case the noise bothers you.”

“Wonderful historic hotel with notes to read about past events. It can really help you imagine the 1800s, since it was lovingly restored with the goal of looking just like it did. Laurie was kind, helpful and thoughtful too. Room stayed cool and we enjoyed passing trains. Easy to walk around town with dining options and you could walk to it from the Amtrak station. The only suggestion would be to have a hanger or 2 in the room and maybe some bottles of water, although the room had a glass bottle……
