I was disappointed with my stay for several reasons. Upon check-in, I was informed that the room I originally booked and paid for in full was no longer available. I was told this was due to booking through a third-party site, which I found frustrating—especially since I’ve never had this issue before when booking in advance.
I was placed in a different room, but unfortunately, the bathroom door was broken. When I brought it up to the front desk, I was told that all the bathroom doors are broken and that maintenance might be able to fix it. Additionally, the pool was out of order, which wasn’t communicated ahead of time.
The next morning, I went to get breakfast from the lobby and found the bagels were stale—and two of them even had visible mold. On the final night of my stay, I witnessed a woman bathing herself in the sink of the lobby bathroom, which was very concerning.
While the staff were friendly, the overall experience and the way the business was run left a lot to be desired. For the amount I paid, I expected a much higher standard and fewer issues.
