I should have read more reviews before I booked. Room key would not work, replaced and then did not work later. Door handle hanging and looked as if it had been kicked a few times. TV would not turn on, no batteries in remote, got new batteries, still would not work. TV would not even work even manually without remote. Refrigerator plugged in and on but not working. Toilet plugged upon arrival, I was too afraid to complain so I used the one in the lobby. Shower would not drain and I took a shower in ankle-deep water. Burn holes and rips in bedspread. No mattress pad, just a thin non-fitted sheet directly over the mattress. Room furniture very rough, scratched and beat up. Property generally very rough. Housekeeping carts in the hall in the late afternoon...one with a pack of cigarettes on it. Several room doors open in the afternoon. All outside doors never locked at night...I didn't feel safe. I parked my car well away from my room and near the entrance and security cam as I was afraid it would be broken into. Parking lot extremely deteriorated. In general, the property looks like it could have been abandoned if didn't have a reservation.
Positive points: staff very friendly, room was unkempt but not filthy as reported in other reviews. I got my deposit back without a hassle like other folks that reviewed.
I pride myself in staying at budget properties to save a buck, but this one crossed the line. Definitely not a place to stay with children. My advice is book elsewhere.
