First the good, this is very close to Fort Jackson and the beds are comfortable when they don't fall out from under you. Unfortunately, the negatives are so much longer. The stairs to the upstairs were filthy, as were many other things: the oven top, bathroom mirror, blinds, and my mother's nightstand was full of fake fingernail clippings (shudder). The next day, they asked to come in to fix the issues, we said no. They came in anyway and then lied about it. It was SO creepy. Also, most all of the towels were in a wet ball in the dryer when we got there, and the dryer is so old that it took 2 days to get them dry (we stayed 3) so we didn't have hand towels and only 2 of the 6 of us had real towels. I had to keep the dryer going every time we were home to get that mess to dry. The house is dingy and poorly stocked. It was embarrassing to have rented it for my son's graduation from basic training and taken my parents there. There were so many issues - A towel bar fell out of the wall and almost took a foot off, I sat down to put shoes on and the bed collapsed out from under me, almost pitching me into a glass window (the bed frame wasn't even connected). It started to feel like a house of horrors. The owners and managers were aggressive: messaging constantly and being demanding, then getting mad when I didn't drop everything to send photos in a different format or write out long descriptions. I only had so much time with my son, a VRBO shouldn't take so much of it!!
