NoMa Green House

The NoMa Green House is a fully renovated 1940’s home in Columbia’s booming North Main district. This home comfortably sleeps 6 and has one king bedroom, two queen bedrooms, a full bath with tub/shower, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, spacious front porch and back yard, and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable!
The space
This home is in the perfect location – close to all major interstates, minutes from downtown, within walking distance to SC’s largest brewery (opening soon), less than a five-minute drive to Prisma Health Richland, and a just a few miles from USC’s campus. The listing is for the entire house – 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 2 queen beds) with memory foam mattresses, 1 full bathroom with tub/shower, full kitchen, dining room, comfortable living room, washer/dryer, backyard, spacious front porch, and it’s own driveway for hassle-free parking.

- This is an entire home and it is not suitable for parties or large gatherings.
- For liability reasons, we can only allow the number of guests confirmed in the reservation on the property at any time during your stay (maximum 6 guests).
- Quiet hours are between 10pm-8am.
- And, for everyone's safety, there are two security cameras on the outside of the home. There is also a noise monitoring device that will detect decibel levels only inside the home. Any tinkering or manipulation of these devices will cause your trip to be canceled immediately and without a refund. There are no cameras inside the home.
- You will have complete access to the entire house including free on-site parking and a backyard. Only you and your registered guests will have access to the space during your stay.

Very clean and comfortable updated house . Was actually nicer in person then the pictures .

This property was very easy accessible and roomy. We had 5 adults and a 10 year old, and we wasn’t stepping on each others toes or crowded. We all was very pleased with the comfortable feeling it provided for our stay.

Nice old house with character

There was no lock on the bathroom and the vent fan is a little loud. No hangers in the closet and they were out laundry detergent. The shower curtain also needs one of those curved ones that gives you a little more room, it's tight because the rod it hangs on has to be in because there is a window right there. If you do stay here, you can use the wicker basket kind of like a lock and the shower curtain can be raised up and moved out some and still hand inside the tub. They ask you to strip the beds and get all garbage into the can next to the house, but the can was overflowing. Having said all that, it was still a nice house in a fairly quiet location. Beds were memory foam and comfortable, washer and dryer worked fine, and it had plenty of dishes and kitchen stuff. The king mattress has some stains on it, I kind of wish they didn't have me strip it just so I didn't see that. I think the price reflects all of that.

Lovely house

The house was comfy and beautiful. I was impressed with the kitchen supplies, they were useful and newer (not like scratched up, barely useful pots/pans at other rentals). The best part were the beautiful real house plants. The beds were very comfortable.

What a Great place!

After looking at the listing, I was really looking forward to the stay, but the house impressed me even more when I arrived. Quaint, yet beautifully furnished and the house was well maintained. It has 3 bedrooms, so there's a lot of room and the bed was very comfortable. Honestly, as comfortable as my bed at home so I slept well the entire stay. The house was clean, kitchen well furnished and the decor was tasteful. It has a front porch with a swing to enjoy warm weather evenings. The yard was well kept and the neighborhood is older but quite. I had a small issue with the lock but Andrew was very responsive and took care of it immediate. He was also very accommodating when I had a small request. It was a safe area with a police station right around the corner as well. Convenient to downtown or the mall, so getting around was easy. Over all, I really enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend The NoMa Green House! Thanks for making my weekend very enjoyable. Don

Cute old house. Comfortable stay

The property is a bit on the outskirts of Columbia but everything seemed to be working 15 minutes. We came for my son’s graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. It took 15-20 mins to get on base from the house. House was cozy and comfortable. It did not have basic staples, like dish soap, cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc so plan accordingly. Host allowed for a later check-out, which was nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Just Me

First the Bad News The location of this home is in a part of town that is up and coming. So don't be discouraged of the neighborhood, and having the police department down the street made me feel at ease. Upon entering the home, there was a horrible odor that smelled like really bad BO, and garlic and onions mixed with a hint of cigarette smoke. Had I not driven for 12 hours, I would have went to a hotel. That's how bad it was. There were some cleanliness issues, such as a lot of dust on the ceiling fans, lots of fingerprints on the mirrors in the bedrooms. Now the bathroom is another story. The toilet seat was extremely loose, I had to hold on for dear life thinking every time I went to sit down I was going to end up between the toilet and the small space between and toilet and wall and would have to call the fire department to come help me LOL. The toilet also rocked back and forth on the floor so be prepared for some sloshing, and a wet bum. The tub and shower combined is very small and when you close the shower curtain and turn on the water, the curtain sucks in around you so you feel as if you are being attacked. There isn't anything to put your washcloth on until you are ready to use it unless you throw it in the corner of the bath. The first towel I grabbed was in the linen closet as you walked into the bathroom little did I know there was a huge hole in it when I went to dry off with it. Other than that the house was pretty awesome, and I will come again.

Property as advertised, beautiful house felt like home away from home. We all love the house. 3 star was giving for cleanness because the shower curtains were dirty and the wall also had soap scum and hair. The house had a funny old scent like something that was closed out for a while the pillow were to flimsy it can use new ones including the linens. Otherwise great place to rent .Whenever I'm down in SC this will definitely be the place I will rent again.
