The apartment furnishings and décor are done in an industrial modern vintage style with a mix of new and old locally found pieces. The kitchen and bathroom has been completely redone with new cabinetry, floors, tile, appliances, vanity, and lighting. You will feel perfectly at home in this upstairs apartment.

Cottontown is an awesome well established historic neighborhood that is within a mile of the downtown business district of Columbia. We love this hood so much that we also call it home and live a few blocks away. There are so many friendly people in Cottontown, don't be surprised if folks wave or stop and chat with you if you decide to talk a stroll or walk to one of the several local businesses within a block or two of your door. Our personal favorites are, well, everything! Make sure to stop in at The Cottontown Brew Lab for one of their many specialty craft beers or swing into Indah Coffee for a cup their specialty roasted cafes. The War Mouth is our favorite spot for a nice sit down dinner and cocktails, make sure to try their deviled eggs with their homemade hot sauce, they won't disappoint! Rambo's Fat Cat Biscuits is the newest eatery to open in our neighborhood and they offer take-out and eat-in delicious sinfully good biscuits! Il Focolare pizza is also a short stroll away and no need to tip, every employee is paid a living wage at this local 90s themed female owned business (SmallSugar is a short drive away and under the same ownership). Curiosity Coffee has a great little spot with local merchandise for purchase and plenty of brews, drinks and of course, coffee. We love the Vino Garage and they regularly schedule food trucks and pop-ups in their parking lot, so stop in for the perfect wine / beer dinner pairings! Vegan? No problem, Peace of Soul is within two blocks of this apartment and has been slinging out soulful vegan food since the 80s. Did we mention that the Bull Street Development where the Columbia Fireflies Baseball Stadium, REI Co-Op store and Starbucks (opening soon) is also within a few blocks walk? There is so much to love about Cottontown, there's too much to list!

This is the upstairs apartment of a 2-story duplex. There are long-term tenants on the first floor. The driveway is reserved exclusively for your use during your stay. The backyard is split into to halves with a divider fence. Please respect your neighbor's space and privacy by remaining on the right side where the table and chairs are located when using the rear patio.

The Cottontown Art Crawl is a free, family friendly event that takes place annually in the historic Cottontown neighborhood. The event takes place on Saturday, March 8, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that the 2500 block of Sumter Street will be closed to all traffic during this time to accommodate the event. If you're planning to stay in the area over the weekend of March 7-9, please be aware of increased street traffic and road closures, as large crowds are expected for the event. These factors could impact your stay, so plan accordingly.
This property is available to family groups, married couples, or responsible adults age 25 and older. We do not allow rentals to high school or college groups, fraternities, sororities, or unrelated young adults under 25.
Parties, events, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited. Special events are NOT permitted at this property.
Any reservation made under false pretenses will result in denied access or immediate eviction without refund.
Maximum occupancy of 8 guests and the vehicle limit of 5 are strictly enforced. Exceeding these limits is grounds for immediate removal without refund, and guests may be charged for associated damages or violations. Absolutely no on-street parking is allowed in the neighborhood.
The property manager is authorized to remove guests and their belongings if these terms are violated, and anyone refusing to vacate when asked will be considered a trespasser after notice.
The property has unlocked access to the pool and lake frontage. Guests are responsible for their children. Children must be properly supervised at all times, especially around the pool, lake, and hot tub. Children are not allowed in the pool without an adult present. Babies must wear a snug-fitting diaper under their swimsuit.
Swim at your own risk – there is no lifeguard on duty. No rough play in the pool, including pushing, dunking, or wrestling. No diving allowed in the pool due to its shallow depth or off the dock. Running on the pool deck is prohibited. Eating, drinking, or chewing gum is not allowed in the pool or hot tub. Glass bottles and items are not permitted on the pool deck. Do not swim under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Swimsuits are required at all times in the pool and hot tub. Please remove any bobby pins or hairpins before entering the pool or hot tub to avoid clogging the filter. Do not throw rocks or other objects into the pool or hot tub, as they may damage the bottom.
Only guests of the property are permitted to use the pool or access the property. Before entering the pool or hot tub from the lake, please rinse off to remove contaminants. An inverted shower is provided next to the hot tub for your convenience. Shoes are required on the dock at all times. Pets are not permitted in the pool area or on the property. Limit your time in the hot tub to 15–20 minutes to prevent overheating. Always secure the umbrella when not in use.
No parking on grass outside of the driveway area. The driveway accommodates a maximum of 5 vehicles. Please do not park or leave vehicles on the street.
Respect the neighbors and keep the noise level down at all times. No fireworks on the property. No charging electric vehicles on the property. Please rinse off toys, floats, and yourselves of lake water before entering the pool. Do not go underneath the house and avoid touching the pool pump or electrical boxes.
Disclosure: We are not liable for any injuries or harm that may occur on the premises. By renting this home, you acknowledge and assume the risks associated with the property and its activities (including swimming, using the firepit, stairs, etc.), and you agree to release the owner from any liability for injuries that may result from participation in these activities.
Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints. Please be mindful of all neighbors.
No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy is allowed at any time.
No smoking inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.
Pets are strictly NOT allowed in this home. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home, you will be charged $250 for cleaning + any additional damages.
If the house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, we will charge a fee via Airbnb's Resolution Center that covers our costs.
The boat ramp/slip is strictly off limits to guests for use. Boats must be put in the water at a boat ramp like Lake Murray North Recreational Dam or Jake's Landing. If there is evidence that vehicles were on the grass, we will charge a fee via Airbnb's Resolution Center that covers our costs.
Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost of $50. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.
Pack n plays and highchairs are available for rent and must be requested through your boarding pass. These are first come, first serve.
