Beautiful hotel, great location, parking cost extra, downtown Columbia is simply just dirty and overran with homelessness. Hotel was awesome though! Staff was very friendly!

The property was in a great location and had a parking lot. I didn't like that you had to pay $12 to park there, however. There are electric vehicle charging stations in the lot, which is a great bonus. I loved the variety at breakfast. It was high quality for a hotel breakfast. It's also nice that there is a bar/restaurant in the hotel.

The hotel itself is new and quite attractive, especially the lobby area. My son and I stayed the night before leaving for NY after his freshman year at U of SC. While checking in there were some difficulties not just with my check in but with others as well. We did not get to enjoy the free breakfast because we were leaving at 4 AM to head home. Purposefully getting to bed early, we were awakened by the room telephone ringing after 10 PM. I answered to someone asking, "Who is this?" After I asked them who they were, they said they were calling from the front desk and needed to know who was in the room. What?! They proceeded to call back 2 more times even after I gave them my name and explained that we were trying to sleep. Then they showed up at our door, again wanting to confirm who we were. Needless to say, we did not get a good night's sleep.

Great location. Everything feels new. Plenty of close parking (paid by app $12 per day/night). Have a bar that serves food in the lobby (5pm to 10pm); great atmosphere but they need a wait person to help the bartenders. Too long a wait for food and drinks as the 2 bartenders doing it all were slammed. Will stay here again.

Very clean, people at the front desk are so nice and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Parking is well lit and safe. Close to Uof SC where my daughter goes. Wish there is a pool though but over all is a 10. Would love to go back again.

The property has only been open for about 6 weeks, so it is squeaky clean. The woman at check in was very cheerful and told us how long she would be on duty if we needed anything the breakfast was impressive. Waffles, pancakes, eggs (real not powdered!), bacon and even a carnitas bar!

Clean, quiet and new. Water pressure excellent. $12. /night to park stinks! The lot was not even full at night and it was self parking, no frills. This price range should NOT have a fee for a basic parking lot. Tried sitting in “new” lounge area but told I couldn’t because they were taking photos for their new web page. Hey, I’m paying for this! That’s like being barred from using the pool in 90 degree weather at a resort. Should have comped the parking at least! Would not honor government rate saying I had to book online for that. Not so at other equitable hotels. Breakfast was delish.
