“We had a great experience staying in this unit! It is super close to Simpson University and just a short drive to downtown. A great spot if you're looking to do some weekend wine tasting! Everything was very clean and the pull out couches (2) were perfect. ”

“The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.”

“This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again!”

The photos honestly don’t do the view justice. It’s gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you need, the master bedroom is as comfortable as you could hope for (we didn’t use any of the guest rooms), and the hot tub is really the highlight of the property.
