“Nice clean property with a responsive host makes for a great and easy process to get out on the water and enjoy time with your family. About a 30 second drive to bakers landing helps as they sell food and last minute supplies that you forgot. Overall loved it and would recommend to small parties looking to get out and vacation. ”

“The accommodations served our needs of being close to the RTJ Highland Oaks golf course. The owner was responsive in answering any questions I had, and providing additional linens when requested. We did not cook here, so won't comment on that aspect of the stay. The only potential challenge for others, if they have mobility issues, is that all bedrooms are on 2nd floor. The 2nd floor BA is a jack & jill between 2 of the 3 bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“I booked this just so I could pet the donkeys. I'm from the area and just needed a quiet place to get some computer work done. This spot was great. Check in was easy, I Love that it was gated and the donkeys were a huge plus they were so cute. ”

“The place is very nice and a beautiful view. Beds are very comfortable. Only issue was walking around the garage area to get inside. If it's raining while unpacking, you will be soaked. Needs more lighting in front of garage. I think a pole light was out. . Overall a great place for fishermen. ”

“Property was clean, cozy, and well-appointed with everything you need for a weekend or even longer! BBQ grill, fire pit, enclosed porch with ceiling fans, covered boat dock… all on a peaceful and private creek leading to the lake. We caught 5 panfish right off the dock (remember to get a local fishing license). Lots of wildlife! Saw a small gator, egrets, and turtles galore. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and plan to be regulars to this property any time we need a weekend getaway!”

“First let me say the host/ owner Brennon was extremely responsive regarding a few issues with our 5 day stay. Ease of keyless entry and check out was excellent. I was a bit surprised at some of the property issues once we arrived, however. The skylights were boarded up, the back patio has large sticks and nails due to roof repairs/replacement from a bad hail storm in Dothan the previous week. The outdoor furniture was in pretty bad repair as well. There was also a lot of dirt/ bugs inside most……
