“So lovely to stop here driving across country. Quiet, very comfortable, right by the Yellowstone River. I stayed in one of the king rooms. Really well-appointed, lovely art, cool shower. It's all very well-thought out. A private porch, big windows looking out to pretty views. The owner is lovely to cimmunicate with. I thought I'd be late and called. They sent me excellent checkin notes. I suppose I had neighbors, but everyone was quiet. Special place!”

“5/5 – Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service I stayed at the Locomotive Inn in Laurel, MT on August 16, 2025, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, and it was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was exceptional, especially considering we checked in around 11 pm. “My husband and I needed a night away and booked with Amanda. We LOVED our stay in their yurt. We were in the bottom pasture down but East Rosebud Creek with a gorgeous view of the beartooths through the trees. Everything was set up and just adorable. “Our stay was short and sweet. There was an issue with check in but that seemed to be on the VRBO side of things. The property manager was super responsive and super nice.
