My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for a brief staycation. The team there was very polite, but obvious the property needs attention. But besides that, we got in late Saturday evening, still in time for what we assumed to be room service. I called the restaurant, " The Grill" and placed an order, the person on the line asked which room we were in , told me the price, stated "it will be 25 minutes" and hung up We waited for the knock at the door. I knew they were probably busy so we were being patient. The phone I our room rang after about 60min and it was a person from the restaurant stating"did you know you food has been sitting here over an hour because we do not deliver and I'm just getting back from break and see that your food is still here" I stated, the oerson who took our order did not state that you do not deliver.. and .. so will you guys re-make our food and I'll come down to pick it up ( we were on the 7th floor) the person stated, " yes the chef will take care of it". When I got there our bag was on the counter, woman behind the bar stated, she was "sorry but we don't deliver and would you like a drink for your time!" I stated " we do not drink but we will take 2 soda's." I got our dinner to our room and could IMMEDIATELY see that the food was NOT replaced, it was microwave reheat So disappointing from a hotel that is supposed to be Sheraton. We WILL NOT stay there again
