Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, near the medieval city of Sarlat (20 min) and Montignac Lascaux (15 min), you will find in a small, quiet hamlet and in the middle of nature, Mathilde's house. With its 4 bedrooms (capacity 7-9 people), 2 bathrooms, equipped kitchen, wifi, terrace and private swimming pool you will appreciate the comfort of this character house.
Ideal location to enjoy the region (architecture, landscape, castle) as well as shops nearby, activity center (canoeing, mountain biking, hiking ...).

Het huis is erg gedateerd en de tuin is behoorlijk achterstallig. De tegels om het zwembad zitten vol met onkruid, wat erg jammer is. Ook het meubilair binnen evenals buiten, mag wel een keer vervangen worden. De omgeving erg mooi en rustgevend, voor mensen die dit als prettig ervaren is dit een voordeel. De zee is bijna 200km rijden, wat ook geen optie is en een boulevard of groot winkel centrum is er niet te vinden. Een half uur vanaf de accommodatie bevindt zich een Aldi en de Carrefour. Toen wij aankwamen werkte de wasmachine niet, maar nadat ik de eigenaar een bericht heb gestuurd kregen wij vrijwel direct een nieuwe wasmachine. Er wordt geadverteerd dat er 4 slaapkamers zijn, echter dit is geen volwaardige vierde kamer. Aan de linkerzijde bevinden zich twee kamer met 2 persoonsbed. Aan de rechterzijde bevindt zich een soortgelijke kamer en daar zit de (tweede badkamer) een douche cabine en wasbak op de slaapkamer. Niet handig als iedereen moet douchen en je daar in de avond moet slapen met het warme weer zonder airco. Slaapkamer 4 (zoals omschreven) bevindt zich op een zolder(tje) waar het zo warm is dat het gewoon onmenselijk is om daar iemand te laten slapen. Al bij al heerlijk genoten van het mooie weer, zwembad en de rust.

Agréable séjour dans un cadre isolé
Propriétaire gentille, conviviale et à l'écoute Photos non d'actualité. Quelques aménagements d'entretien extérieur seraient à apporter. Vaste intérieur appréciable. A 30 minutes en voiture de Sarlat, 25 minutes de Terrasson, mais le calme y est appréciable.

Happy days in the Dordogne
Our extended family loved the house, the pool & the location. When we arrived a few minor queries were quickly and cheerfully dealt with. The only major problem was FINDING the house : the address is insufficient for the sat nav and a clearer description of its exact location would help. Otherwise excellent.

La verdure
Vaste propriété bien équipée au milieu d’une belle nature, piscine impeccable, chambres vastes au premier étage, cependant petites fenêtres. Maison de caractère entourée de deux autres maisons de même style, situation idéale pour visiter. Avons donc passé un très agréable séjour.

Beautiful very private and secluded
We found Chassagne very difficult to find as not on Sat Nav, however when we did finally arrive we were blown away by the beauty and seclusion of the area, a small hamlet of 4 or 5 homes, the owners mother lives across the garden but we saw very little of her but she was very kind and helpful when she did pop over, the house itself is huge and would comfortably sleep 10, there were only 2 of us and a small dog so we had loads of room, the garden is fabulous and we spent almost every day in the pool and having BBQ,s, the house has all essentials you could possible need, bed linen and towels need to be requested and paid for with owner, but you do need to pop to the the Intermarche in the nearest town of Montignac for your groceries, which is a good 10 - 15 min drive away through country lanes before reaching a main road

Très jolie maison périgourdine traditionnelle dans un hameau au calme mais proche des sites à voir!
La maison est très jolie et au calme. Les équipements sont toutefois un peu à revoir: ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle trop sommaires et quelques équipements sont un peu de bric et de broc.

Wc du bas qui se bouche Simples rideaux aux fenêtres qui n'occultent pas la lumière du jour : en vacances on n'a pas envie d'être réveille à 5h du matin ! Tableau électrique qui fait un bruit continu Cuisine avec des miettes à l'arrivée Location conforme aux photos , belle piscine , au calme .
