“Wow, this is a truly unique place to stay. Immaculately kept. Beautifully-designed rooms. Feels like staying in nature without roughing it. Staff is friendly and helpful too. “This comfortable studio is perfect for 1-2. The view alone is exquisite, calm and serene. Parking is excellent and quite safe. I walked to the Abbey next door and found wild blackberries along the way. The nuns were singing in their church and it was angelic. This is a small convent but quite worth a visit during services. The gracious hosts could not be more delightful & welcoming. The town is surprisingly full of treasures and the area is absolutely lovely.Do NOT miss the Castle Garden and……

“Helen was a wonderful host. She was very responsive to any questions / issues that arose. Our family really enjoyed the property and seeing the cows and donkey in the yard next door. The house was spacious and and allowed our 12-person group to spread out. The house was in a great location for our plans to explore Waterford and Kilkenny.”

“The cottage was exactly as described! It was clean, everything was in good working order and the garden was just lovely. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful walks in the forest and quaint little village. Just be aware that the only shop closes at 7 pm.”

“We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The……

“If you want peace and quiet, off the beaten path, away from tourists, Mrs. Delaney‘s loft is the place for you! We really enjoyed our stay. There was one hiccup with another gentleman booked for the same room, but they were quick to rectify the situation, and all parties were taken care of. We will be back!”
