“We stayed near end of season, atmosphere in the resort was rather tranquil, which we liked. Apartments and public areas are a little worn, but spacey and well-equipped. We even got an upgrade to a suite with a third bedroom (which we did not need as a family of 3, but overall we enjoyed the extra space). For wifi in the room we needed to rent a router, but the price of 1 Euro per day is moderate and quality was perfect. Access to the (public) beach is by a 1500m walk, but there is a small train……

“We hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad in het huis van Yacinta. Het contact met haar verliep uitstekend: ze communiceerde duidelijk, secuur en hield ons goed op de hoogte van updates. Het huis zelf is ruim en comfortabel, met genoeg plek voor het hele gezin. De keukenapparatuur is wat verouderd, maar werkt verder prima. Het zwembad was een groot pluspunt! Schoon, goed onderhouden en loopt geleidelijk af van ondiep naar diep, wat ideaal is met kinderen. Al met al een aanrader!”

“My wife and enjoyed our stay in cabanas, the resort was bigger than we expected and definitely more family oriented, but still very enjoyable for us. The flat was very lovely, had what we needed and a nice covered patio. The local grocery store was a 5 min walk and well stocked. Day trips to Tavira were not expensive but you can’t walk from Cabanas to Tavira, it’s bus or taxi. The village of Cabanas was just the right pace for my wife and I, quiet and tranquil, lots of restaurants and the……

“We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next……

“Wir trafen eine sehr schöne und von der gesamten Bausubstanz komfortable, ruhig gelegene und sehr saubere Wohnung an, die mit allem ausgestattet war, was man für den Urlaub benötigt. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Die Gastgeber Erich und Saini waren äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ihre ausführlichen Besichtigungstipps sowie Restaurantempfehlungen konnten wir gut gebrauchen.
