“This was our first time renting a cottage through VRBO, and also our first time in Newfoundland. Right from the beginning our host Danielle was very friendly and helpful. We fell in love with the little cottage by the sea from the pictures, and when we got there it didn’t disappoint. The decorations were lovely, the cottage cozy and the beds were comfy. I can see it being a little difficult to get around in if someone has balance or mobility issues as it’s an older building and has uneven……

“A great house in a great central location for exploring. Everything was as advertised and we had everything we needed. Port de Grave is a beautiful little fishing village within walking distance, as is Green Point Lighthouse. We stayed for 4 days and did day trips to Bonavista, around the Irish Loop, and to Cape Fear before an evening in Quidi Vidi and St. John's. This is a great spot if you want to see lots without having to move houses. We visited Mad Rock Cafe in Bay Roberts for lunch……
