“The room was seriously lacking in many things we take for granted: no coffee pot, no facial tissues, electric lamps did not work, furniture was old and shabby . . . just not up to a 5 star experience in any way except the staff. Those I met seemed genuinely concerned, but unable to make any real changes. Housecleaning staff needs to be fired and new ones hired . . . which I understand for all service industries today . . . that is a real challenge.”

“The couple (I believe they are a couple) who own this place are incredible. So, nice, so accommodating, such a lovely couple of people. However, I do need to be honest. The place was not great. * Let me preface and say that I am not a high maintenance person, if there are scuffs, dents and dings in places - I don't care, that's normal. But, I do need to point out that the sheets reeked of cigarette smoke. It got so bad at the end of the night when I laid my head on the pillow that I needed……

“Nice property. Wasn't easily accessible but it wasn't the Motel's fault. Bridges under construction. Staff friendly and welcoming. Nice room and kids really enjoyed everything except no internet service. To be fair, they are working on it but I'd have a hotspot avail to keep them busy :)”
