“The house is well decorated and attractive. The lot around the property and surrounding neighborhood, not so much. The property is 20+ minutes from dining or groceries, but the kitchen was not well suited for cooking, mainly due to lack of suitable pots and pans. There were lots of bugs in the house too. ”

“Grandma (me) and my three daughters and their families (12 of us) just spent a very special week here. The kids ranged from 4-15. We usually rent a beach home and decided to try something different. My grandchildren loved every moment spent there. We were there for seven days, and no one was ready to leave. We swam, and swam some more. They climbed trees, made smores, shot baskets and BB guns. We cooked out, and ordered food from the Chicken Coop (very good.) We put a giant family jigsaw puzzle……

“Our family had an amazing long weekend at Possum Trot. We were there to celebrate two milestone birthdays and Judith went above and beyond to ensure the trip was memorable. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, even better than the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed both properties and spent a lot of time together in the lodge in front of the fireplace but also had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted. “This little inn was perfect for my overnight stay. The entire building had been renovated, so everything was updated with excellent features. My room was well appointed with a very comfortable leather reclining chair, desk, mini fridge/microwave and a host of complimentary beverages and snacks. Even the modern bathroom offered a basket full of toiletry supplies. This property is a hidden gem, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. It was a very pleasant departure from the……
