“We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.”

“Arrived to be greeted by Marie who showed us around the property, very friendly. Showed how to operate the pull cover and to contact her if any problems. The owner Henri lives in another house to the rear of the barn rental. Lovely man who would clean the pool early in the morning and check with us all ok. Would definitely stay here again, short run into Ruffec for supplies at either of the two supermarkets. Thanks for a great holiday😊”

“We were very happy with our stay at Hobogite. Lots of thoughtful care from our hosts Rob & Lene to provide everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Much appreciated!! It was extremely peaceful and the garden & grounds were gorgeous. We have booked again for next year which I think says it all. If I might be permitted to make a couple of small constructive criticisms. The key press was awkward to use, especially in the dark. We had eight or nine days of rain & therefore spent more……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this place with the whole family! The house was really clean and had al lot of space for everyone to spread out comfortably.The pool was honestly the star of the show as we spent hours in there and it was perfect for both the kids and adults. Location-wise, you get the best of both worlds as it is peaceful and quiet, but only 10 minutes to the shops where you can grab anything you need.One thing that really impressed us was how helpful the house manager was.
