“This was our 1st time going to Deep Creek Lake. They allowed us to check in a little early which was wonderful! The lobby area was beautiful and had games to play at the tables. Our suite was nice and clean. Some of the lights didnt work so it felt dark in our room. The bed upstairs was very firm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We liked having the sofa bed and huge TV. It was also nice that they had coffee in the lobby in the morning. They have boat and kayak rentals on the property which was……

“Didn't get to enjoy the view because it was raining on and off. The place was great and view by the lake was wonderful.”

“We did stay off season during the week so the property was quiet. Unit was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The fireplace was not working and it was reported and no one fixed it or communicated about the issue. There was not a TV in the bedroom. Overall good experience and would stay again.”

“Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. ”

“When the TV failed to work in our room the front desk tried to fix and could not. They changed our room and with a nice upgrade I might add. Thank you very much we enjoyed our stay.”

In general the overall condition of the grounds was disappointing: railing posts and caps need to be painted or replaced (both in this unit and throughout the property), lights on concrete steps from parking lot are broken and dangling, several loose planks in steps from deck to the lakeside lawn.”
