“Beautiful location on the water, super friendly hosts. Location close to so many little towns with great food and amazing people. Trailer has everything that you need for your stay, they thought of everything. They made us feel welcome and we will be back for sure. We took our paddleboards out; he even lent us a fishing rod to use on the nearby Warf. ”

“My family and I had a wonderful atay at Captain's House. The view of the bay right outside of the front of house was spectacular!! One morning we even saw a couple of whales breaching out there. Its a roomy place that held the 5 of us easily and a couple that came to visit us one day.Rachel was easy to deal with and responded to questions in a timely maner.I would definitely stay here again and recommend Captain's House to anyone coming to the area.”

“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. “A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“What can I say? Lovely hosts, gorgeous cozy property, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful information pack, board games in the cupboard, everything spotless, and in a great location within a few minutes walk of Lunenberg’s waterfront, shops and restaurants. Even the flowers at the front were in full bloom and smelled amazing! We toured Canada for 5 weeks, as a family of 4, staying in 14 different locations, and this house was my favourite.
