The hotel was clean when we got there, and the price had been reasonable when we booked it; and the location was nice. When I arrived with my family, I asked for a crib, and the guy who seemed pretty nice went to look for it. I was parking my vehicle while my wife waited for the crib, and when I got back, was surprised to hear from my wife that there were no sheets or mattress for the crib. I went back to the guy, who now turned into a grumpy old man, and said that the crib "comes as is"... I told him to bring me regular bed sheets, and he seemed "surprised" by my ask, saying that they were not going to fit. I pushed him to bring them, and finally got them, not in a nice way. I was surprised by the $15 dll per day fee on parking (why would they do this if there is plenty of parking and it is only hotel-parking?? just add the amount to the weekly hotel booking!), but that was not the major disappointment. The major disappointment after the terrible experience with the grumpy man, was that they did not clean our room for 3 consecutive days even though we asked for cleaning every day, and were out of our room every day by around 10:30am. First they told us that hotels don't clean rooms every day now a days unless you explicitly ask for it (which we were doing!), and then they just said that they were asking to get it cleaned, but someone was just not making it happen... will I go back to this hotel in Houston? Of course not... will try something else next time.
