CERRO CARLOTA A sustainable rural house in the Sierra Norte Natural Park, Seville.

The place offers nature, silence, slow time, starry nights, in short, a good place to rest, read, talk, write, paint, meditate ... or, simply, contemplate the landscape.
1.8 km. By road, or 900 m. Walking along a rural path, the house is situated on top of a hill, between chestnut trees and olive trees. A real watchtower on the landscape. We have restored it, respecting the architectural characteristics of the area.
It is equipped with a system of photovoltaic solar energy plates, which make it a place of sustainable leisure, according to an ecological criterion of respect for the environment.
It has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, a bedroom and a study-viewpoint with views over the town and the mountains. Also, in the exterior, diverse terraces allow to enjoy the landscape from different perspectives.
In just 15 minutes you can reach the town, where you will enjoy its architecture (Parish Church, Castle, Morería ...) and its cuisine (Iberian pork, mushrooms, wines, cheeses ...).
If you like to walk, you have different trails to enjoy nature. You can not miss El Cero del hierro, a place of special geological interest or the cascades of the river Huéznar, located next to its birth. But there are many others: Greenway, The rebollar, The chestnut trees ..
If you are looking for art and culture, you have Seville to 73 minutes, Cordoba to 93, Carmona to 48, Almodóvar from the river to 80 Marchena to 90 ... Cordoba and Seville have an airport.
You can also visit the villages of the natural park, a few km. Of Constantine, especially Cazalla de la Sierra.

Een perfect verblijf

We hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad, ook al was het weer de eerste week koud en nat. Het huis ligt prachtig op een heuvel met verschillende mooie uitzichten een tuin rondom het huis. Goede tuinstoelen!Het huis is sfeervol ingericht en is zeer schoon en goed onderhouden. Voor de koude avonden is er een houtkachel. De keuken apparatuur is goed. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en erg aardig.De omgeving is geweldig. Het nationale park Siërra Norte de Sevilla is heel geschikt om te wandelen. Overal zijn wandelingen uitgezet. Het stadje Constantina ligt op een half uur lopen van het huis, via een brede onverharde weg, en is erg gezellig. Veel restaurantjes en cafés. Er is een grote supermarkt. We gaan hier zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Wonderful, kind and generous hosts who provided everything that a visitor might need. Lovely and quiet spot with fabulous views, as well as dark clear skies for stargazing.

Hidden Gem

Second stay at Vidal y Angles home and hopefully will not be our last. If you after a peaceful and tranquil break then this is the house for you. Vidal y Angles meet you in Constantina, guide you to their house, show you around and leave you to enjoy, knowing always that if there are any problems (which there wasn’t) they are only a telephone call away. Thank you again Vidal y Angeles for a lovely stay. Hope to speak soon.

Wir waren von dieser Unterkunft in jeder Hinsicht äußerst positiv beeindruckt. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig, ruhig inmitten der wunderbaren Natur gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und einige Tipps gegeben. Auch das Grundstück um das Haus ist großzügig mit großen Terrassen und bequemen Stühlen und Liegen. Internet funktioniert sehr gut obwohl man weit draußen ist. Lobenswert ist die umweltfreundliche Stromerzeugung mittels Solarzellen auf dem Dach. Man kann schöne Wanderungen machen und abends den Sternenhimmel genießen. Das sollte jeder mal gemacht haben. - Nos quedamos muy impresionados con este alojamiento en todos los sentidos. La casa es muy grande y espaciosa, tranquila en medio de la naturaleza maravillosa y equipada con todo lo que necesita. Los anfitriones nos recibieron muy amables y nos dieron algunos consejos. La propiedad alrededor de la casa también es generosa con grandes terrazas y cómodas sillas. Internet funciona bien. Es recomendable la generación de energía respetuosa con el medio ambiente por medio de células solares en el techo. Puedes hacer hermosos senderos y por la noche disfrutar del cielo estrellado. Todos deberían haber hecho eso. - We were extremely impressed with this accommodation in every way. The house is very large and spacious, quiet in the midst of wonderful nature and equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and gave some useful advices. The property around the house is also generous with large terraces and comfortable chairs and loungers. Internet works very well although you are far out. Commendable is the environmentally friendly power generation by means of solar cells on the roof. You can make beautiful hikings and in the evening enjoy the starry sky. Everybody should have done that.

Perfect hosts for the perfect property

What can I say about this property apart from wow! I can start by saying Angles and Videl are the perfect hosts, they showed us around on arrival gave salient information and left us to enjoy. However we knew Angles and Vidal were only a phone call away if we needed help with anything (which we didn’t) so thank you both. The property itself is perfect if you want a quiet break. It’s setting is on a beautiful hillside and is the most idyllic Property we have ever rented. The village of Constantina is a five minute drive or a fifteen minute walk and although we didn’t meet anyone who spoke English everyone was so patient and helpful. When you are reading the description of this property I can promise you that Angles and Vidal understate how beautiful it is. I honestly cannot think of anything Angles and Vidal could do to improve this holiday let. So thank you both and we look forward to meeting you again next year. David and Laura

Traumhafte Tage in traumhafter Lage

Wir hatten herrliche Tage in diesem liebevoll hergerichteten Haus. Es ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, dazu sehr gut ausgestattet. Solarpaneele sorgen für Strom und warmes Wasser, geheizt werden kann mit einem Pelletofen und einem Kaminofen. Die Lage ist traumhaft, umgeben nur von Olivenbäumen,der Blick auf die gegenüberliegenden Hügel und den Ort in der Ferne. Vielen,vielen Dank unseren wunderbaren Gastgebern Angelès und Vidal! Thanks a lot,we had a wonderful time!

Een hele fijne plek in de natuur, rustig. Een tocht naar Cordoba en ... is zeer de moeite waard, maar ook het wandelen in de omgeving. Een huisje dat leeft met wat de natuur schenkt, een surplus. Al is het maar om er even bij stil te staan.
