Compromise nothing at this awe inspiring mountain-modern ski estate! Winner of three Parade of Homes awards, this designer luxury home offers everything needed for an amazing mountain retreat, including five luxury en-suites, forest and mountain views, ski access, architectural brilliance, sprawling floor plan, chef's kitchen, designer finishes, private hot tub, high-end gas grill, pool table...and more.

Nestled in the evergreens and backed by National Forest, this 5200 square foot masterpiece sits within an exclusive gated community on the slopes of Copper Mountain. The Baker House sits a mere 50 yards from access to the Lumberjack or Woodward ski lifts. At the end of a long day on the slopes, a long smooth green run will deliver you back to this access point.

The grand entry welcomes visitors with impressive views from the floor to ceiling windows. Take a few steps down to the main living area featuring a large gourmet chef's kitchen with seating for 17 between the dining room, breakfast table and island bar. Guests can sit by the fireplace and enjoy the beautiful views of historic Peak 1, or watch TV from the large, cozy living room. Two floors down, the lower entertainment room offers another fireplace, a large TV with HDMI access for gaming consoles and a pool table.

Five unique bedrooms offer spacious quarters for guests. Three private master en-suites with comfortable king beds are located on their own levels of the estate. Couples can retreat to their rooms where they can watch TV or relax on their own private deck or patio. The lowest level offers two modern timber bunk bedrooms, each with their own full bath, consisting of a total of 6 queen beds.

The back of the home offers panoramic views of the national forest and features a relaxing, private hot tub on the lower level and a large deck with gas grill on the main level. The national forest offers guests the opportunity to hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, or watch the abundant wildlife.

The home contains an over-sized 2-car garage with an electric car charger, indoor and outdoor ski/snowboard racks, a boot and glove drier/warmer and plenty of space for other gear in the attached mud room.

The home also offers a large laundry room, high speed WiFi internet, and parking for up to five cars total with a heated driveway.

A local, luxury management group brings the final touches of opulence, convenience, and relaxation. In person check-in with a tour of the house ensures that guests are acquainted with their vacation home from the beginning of their visit. Personal touches such as bamboo sheets, locally roasted coffee, and concierge services creates a luxury experience for this luxury estate. We had 3 families in the house with 3 grandkids under 9. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The floors were heated, you never knew it was 9 degrees outside. The great big windows, gave a superior view of the mountains and snow covered trees. Would not change one thing about this house. Just planning on the next trip out to Copper Mountain, Co.

Our experience would have been wonderful if the owner had not started repairs prior to us arriving and leaving patches all over the house with no paint and many light fixtures and artwork missing. It just took away from the ambience.

Fantastic amenities. The garage is a mini ski lodge with lockers, benches, 32 place boot n glove drier - enough for 8 persons. Quick 2 min walk to ski trail. Teenagers loved the xbox360, pool table and bar area. Awesome for a great ski getaway.

Summer stay at the Baker House
This was an excellent accommodation for our family; every bedroom had their own bathroom which was awesome. The house was very spacious. The kitchen was great for our large party. And we loved the hot tub, which was clean and easy to use. We are already talking about returning to the same house next summer. My only issue was the in-home WiFi. It was very slow and spotty, and we ended up using my personal hotspot instead. But everything else was fantastic. Thank you River Ridge Rentals from our Family!

Beautiful House
Gorgeous house and setting. Easy walk to slope. Great entertaining space. Property managers we’re responsive. The house is very spacious, but we could have used one more bedroom. We had 2 families of 4 plus 2 grandparents (10 total) and 2 of the kids had to sleep on pull out sofas. All worked out great in the end. Loved the hot tub and steam shower!

This house was simply breathtaking!
Easy to rent. Easy to use the app. The place had just about everything we needed. The shuttle comes right to the house so you don’t have to worry about driving around the resort. The only down side was the beds and the wash cloths. The beds were very uncomfortable for the house to be so amazing. I would expect a plush mattress and none of the rooms had nice beds. Also they only give one washcloth per person. So be prepared to wash or bring additional.

Great family home
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Overall it is a great place for a large family to have your own space and lots of common areas to be together. The house is a very short walk to the lumberjack lift, however the lift is not usually open before mid-late December it seems. No matter, because the pre-shadow got us to where we needed to be. The house was clean and well appointed with plenty of kitchen items. The beds were a little bit old and not as comfy as we expected, but overall it was a great house for the holidays. Thank you!

Wonderful Family Getaway!
I rented this property for my family to getaway over Labor Day Weekend. The house is as beautiful as the pictures, if not even more!! Upon arriving, we quickly found that the kids bunk full bed frame was broken. We had to have two sleep on a blow up mattress. The freezer door wouldn’t open and the lock on one of the restrooms wouldn’t work. But, I got a text early Saturday morning asking how everything was (we didn’t arrive until super late the night before) and when I explained these few things that needed repairs, they had someone out within a few hours. (Even over a holiday weekend). They fixed everything and even purchased ice for us since they had to unplug the ice line. The home was equipped with everything as listed and our family had the best time ever! Forget Breck, Copper Mt and The Baker Home is now our favorite place to go!!
