Nice front yard with private dock…Queen bed in 1st floor bedroom w/full bathroom & Queen bed in 2nd floor bedroom w/full bathroom… Fully stocked kitchen for your gourmet meals. Gas grill… 4 Kayaks…Close proximity to the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Ky, and the Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, Ky, and also an hour away from the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky…Fish on the private dock, relax in the hot tub, or sit by the fire pit and unwind…SWIMMING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE LAKE… Please contact owner for swimming options!!!

Family fun

We had a great time at the cabin, the peacefulness and serenity of the lake. The cabin is super cute and clean with an awesome deck to watch beautiful sunsets from. We appreciated that each bedroom has a bathroom, as we are two married couples, in our 50’s and 70’s. It was perfect for us. The kayaks were an added bonus. It is very convenient to the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, antiquing, as well as Cincinnati. The best food in a cool setting was at Ford’s Garage in/near Cincinnati.

We had a great time in Kentucky. Went to the Ark Exhibit and Creation Museum. Also visited our granddaughter and her hubby. Property was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. 10 minutes to Ark. 45 minutes to Creation. 25 minutes to Lexington.

Great little cabin.

Cabin was clean and hosts were very responsive with any text message questions. As stated in other comments the area leading to the cabin was a little sketchy but once at the end of the road you are around 2 other nice cabins and another well kept home. We would definitely stay there again if we ever are pass through. Only 20 mins from the Ark encounter so very convenient if that is your destination.

Beautiful!

My husband and I booked a long weekend here for our honeymoon and it was perfect!! Our host was very helpful, friendly and quick to respond. The cabin was beautiful and very nice quality. The views were amazing as well! The only things that we didn’t love was that there is a highway across the lake that you can hear clearly if you’re outside trying to relax, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. But those things weren’t enough to really alter our trip at all. We had an amazing time and will definitely be booking again if we come back to Kentucky!

The Ark

Beautiful cabin on the lake! Very clean and host was very helpful with finding it. Our GPS took us to the wrong destination and host stayed on the phone and gave us step by step directions! Beds were a little hard to get in. Maybe need to add a step stool and mattress was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Could be that we are use to a king and it was at the best a full/queen? All in all we have a nice relaxing stay at the cabin!

Just few things

The knives need to be replaced. They are extremely dull. No grill utensils. Need to leave more garage bags as only 2 and that wasn’t enough as we prepared our meals and just miscellaneous garbage. Provide hand soap in upstairs bathroom. Other than that what a beautiful home to stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was wonderful! Very clean and nice furnishings. Had minor issue with a toilet (did not affect our stay) but reached out to owner to make her aware and she was very apologetic. This was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in, hot tub was perfect…very clean! Everything was there for us from a welcome basket with snacks to paper towels, games, ALL the amenities of a home. When we got to the initial neighborhood, we were a bit leery because it is isolated with older homes but as soon as we saw the cabin and the other vacation home beside us, we realized we were in a great place to spend a fun weekend! I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others. Thank you to the owners for opening your rental to us 😁

Sweet cabin on a lake

This is a very new and nice cabin. My husband and daughters had fun fishing on the pier and caught quite a few red eared sunfish and channel catfish. Great location for the Ark Experience. Owners are very responsive!

Great cabin

We met the owners they are really nice! They answered all of my questions with fast responses. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The Rd to the cabin is sketchy for a few seconds but ignore that few seconds where the cabin sits at is beautiful.We will definitely recommend to our friends and will be back!

Nice lake cabin

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Caught some great fish. Saw some beautiful sunsets. We had an issue with the lock on the door (which we could've made work during our stay) and the owners came and fixed it right away. They were super nice and very responsive! Thanks for a great family getaway!

Met the owners as we arived to the property early and they were very gracious. The cabin is immaculate. Its close enough to attractions but secluded enough to just relax. Will be booking again.

Great place to stay, communication with the owner was very good, she responded immediately in a positive manner. The problem was handled promptly and fully. The only complaint we had was that there were no chairs in the bedrooms. Other than that, it was great.

Wonderful Escape

We arrived to the cabin, walked in, and were in awe of how beautiful it was! Super clean, cozy, and tons of little extras we didn’t expect. The lake behind the cabin and the hot tub on the deck were definitely a plus 🙂. PERFECT if you are visiting the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, or seeing the beautiful, rolling fields full of horses! Highly recommend!

Cabin on the lake

Everything was as advertised. Newly built cabin and very nice and clean. Granite countertops stainless steel appliances gas grill and hot tub with outdoor tv. The drive down the gravel road you will drive by some abandoned property and some very rough mobile homes. The proximity to the Ark was great about 15 minute drive and about 35 minutes to Lexington. They have kayaks with live vests and a new dock. The cabin is very spacious with a bed and bath upstairs as well as downstairs. Overall the cabin is very nice
