'August Rush' is a five bedroom oceanfront vacation home located in Whalehead Beach. The kids will love the rec room with pool table and stereo and there's an extra refrigerator for keeping those beverages cold. Spend the day on the beach enjoying the world class Corolla beaches, or watch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the dunetop deck. Ocean views from the Great Room and King Master! August Rush is pet-friendly, so be sure to bring your furry family member on vacation with you. Groceries, movies and shops as well as the Currituck Golf Club are located conveniently nearby.

Location is great! House is adequate but needs a little update. Located on beach great so easy just walk out on the deck.

We would have enjoyed our stay if not for the cleanliness of the house. Trash was under the beds- food and drinks-, there was a dog pee stain we assume on the bed sheets, and one of the tv output lines was sparking and popping. As well as a porch light was out. Overall upkeep was pretty bad.

This is simply an older property, location is awesome, house was clean but outdated and there isn't much open space like a great room to support the number people the house fits.  Cleaning prior to arrival was very good.  No beach accommodations and some trash on property. Despite some flaws its very nice to have a short walk back from the beach and hop in the hot tub with 4-5 other people. Realtor support was great.

August Rush is in a fabulous location- but the house needs MAJOR updating. The wallpaper was coming down, the ceilings had been repaired but looked dirty. The house is VERY dated and for the money we paid I am still pissed and disappointed.
