A Few Issues But Decent Enough of a Place

We had never been to the Outer Banks but really loved it overall. Corolla is wonderful. When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned but the rental office addressed it and the cleaning crew cane over promptly and did a great job. The location is great but the pool sits close to the road and is noisy. The house was clean but could use some updating. Pool fountains DID NOT work nor did the lights. Turning on the lights actually tripped the fuse. There was lots of weeds growing around the fence and that was not from one week of growth because they were too high. Also, there must be an issue with the pool filter or they need to have pool company come and sweep. Each day more and more stuff collected on bottom of pool after rains. We cleaned surface leaves and debris with the skimmer but dirt and sand never got cleaned. By the end of our stay with all the rain, the pool looked bad. Hot tub was nice. They had a TV's in every bedroom which my kids loved, VCR worked well. Bring your own beach chairs for sure. We brought our own blankets but the linen service was great. We washed clothes so we didn't overpack. Place is convenient to restaurants and stores. Loved that convenience. Close to the bike trail. I would have liked a book that the owners provided with all details about the place bound and kept nicely for easy reference. We have had that at other places we stayed. All in all, the value was decent but some updates and improvements would be nice.

It’s an old nice house. He needs more maintenance.

The pool in surroundings they were very neglected. The refrigerator was leaking and it took four days to get a repair. The decks they all’s in Denham been maintain for a long time. Overall if they spend some money in maintenance the house is a nice house
