As owners of a few canal-front lots in Carova, we often rent houses to collect ideas and inspiration for our build. Of the 9 rentals we've booked over the past two years, this has to be our LEAST favorite. I'll add that we contacted the owner with the following complaints prior to leaving this review and were told that everything we saw was not true and they wanted to do nothing to improve our experience.-Water from the tap was brown and smelled badly. Owner claims that it's professionally maintained but the color, odor, and condition of the filter indicated otherwise. The 1980's era jacuzzi tub in the master is pictured below partially filled to evidence what comes out of the tap. -RO filter at the kitchen sink didn't work.-Though you're "charged for leaving food behind," the cabinets and freezer had plenty left by others-Spiders and their webs everywhere in every room.-Bedrooms had zero furniture aside from some inexpensive side tables which had no drawers. -The sheets are the paper-thin rayon type and on two of the top-bunks, had Cheeto crumbs and sand still in on them one had a bottle of water!-Hair ball in the shower!-Remote needed to turn on lights but doesn't control the fan. No lights in other bedroom.-Cheetos or red Takis stuck to the floor in kitchen.-50 to RENT THE KAYAKS?!?! Never seen this before at any property!-A 5 Star Review gets you 5% offCarova is a wonderful place to explore but also recommend staying somewhere that is better maintained.
