First off the staff are amazing always friendly and attentive particularly Deo. Breakfast is not four star very limited choices nothing international in anyway and always stone cold in the seven days we were there. Wifi a complete joke non existent even after being given the code for the admin wifi this should be a priority as the Hotel is in a complete dead spot for cellular signal for both smart and globe had to go into town to download boarding passes for return to manila, rooster in the village over the wall directly behind the bedrooms wakes you at 3am and dogs constantly barking. Towels to take on a day trip 150 pesos to hire i can understand a deposit so return but never been charged before. Plus point the sunsets from the pier are amazing

Number one thing that we loved about Bacau Resort are the staff. They are very friendly and accommodating. They know how to handle and take care with their customers. The rooms were clean and cozy. Although the room service food was slightly disappointing, overall we would still highly recommend this.

Loved the hotel and grounds and pier/dock overlooking the water. Welcome beverage and nightly cookies were a sweet unexpected treat. Close to town w/ little moped-taxi's that were always available. Pool was great, and we did tapas daily by the pool. Would stay again.

A very nice getaway with family. The spa was very clean, and service was very relaxing. The pool is very kid-friendly and the staff was very attentive. Shout out to the guitar player/singer at the pool bar...she was awesome!

Our room was large, clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. There are always tricycles waiting outside the hotel if you want to go to Coron, although it is also walkable in 15/20 mins. The pool bar was nice with a lot of drinks options, and the breakfast and lunch were also very nice.

The resort is above what it was described on-line. Rooms were bigger than we thought and rooms were super clean. Staff was amazing and always helpful. If you are staying in Coron, this is the place to stay.

We were picked up at the airport and our private transfer was very comfortable. The room was not ready till 2:00 so we hung out by the pool after having coffee and buns in the restaurant. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with the air conditioning. Our room had a mini bar but the was no menu to tell us the prices of the the drinks. It was really nice that they provided fresh water daily and cookies for snacks. They had some entertainment in the evenings but it would have helped if they had a calendar that told us who was coming and what to expect. We had a great time and I would probably book this resort again.

Nothing like the photos! Very disappointing

This resort is not a true 4-star property—completely misleading. While the entrance gives a good first impression, that quickly fades. Check-in was chaotic and our rooms weren’t ready until 4:30 PM, even though check-in is listed as 2 PM. The pool was filthy—cloudy water, bugs, no filtration, and only 13 loungers total. Worse, the loungers weren’t proper poolside furniture—they were literal baseball-style lawn chairs. The food was disappointing overall, with breakfast being the worst: raw pancakes and zero variety. On our second day, they ran out of mangos, pizza, and tuna. The grounds felt messy and unfinished, with construction zones, blocked-off areas, and a hard-to-access sunset dock surrounded by debris. No smoking area on-site—just a weedy roadside patch. The Premier Suite was decent, but the balconies had no chairs, making them useless. No cell service, and the WiFi was awful. We hoped Bacau would be a solid option—sadly, it was the biggest letdown of our trip.

The pool is not properly filtered. The water is not high enough for the infinity edge, so there’s always stuff floating
