I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent stay at the Omni in Corpus Christi during the Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi graduation weekend.
Despite booking my room several months in advance, I experienced a significant delay upon arrival, as my room was not ready for check-in. This was particularly inconvenient, considering that my family members, who made similar reservations, were able to check into their rooms without issue.
Additionally, I encountered an uncomfortable situation at a side desk (not the main front desk), where a staff member mistakenly assumed I was an employee of the hotel. This assumption was not only incorrect but also contributed to the confusion regarding my room's readiness.
I had reserved the room for this important occasion, as I was graduating from TAMUCC, with the ceremony taking place nearby. These issues detracted from what should have been a celebratory experience.
