Welcome to Palm Breeze Cottage in the heart of Spanish Village, Port Aransas! This cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and offers a peaceful escape with easy access to the beach and local attractions. Just a 5-minute drive to the beach, you'll also be within walking distance of charming bars, restaurants, and shops, with golf carts available for rent to explore the area. Relax in the private oasis of the cottage, featuring an outdoor shower, fire pit, and outdoor dining area. - Up to 2 dogs are allowed for $125 per stay, no cats please. We kindly ask that your dog is crate trained and that you pick up after your dog.
- No parties allowed—violations may result in immediate termination of the stay. We aim to maintain a respectful environment for our neighbors.
- An exterior camera is installed solely to monitor our cleaning team for quality and security purposes.
- Parking for 2 cars max. Parking pass needed.
- If you're interested in a long-term stay, please reach out to inquire about availability. Winter Texan Rate: November - March 1 at $1,700 monthly plus fees.
- Port Aransas is constantly evolving with ongoing construction, building projects, and community improvements. While we can't guarantee a completely quiet stay, these efforts help make the area even better for residents and visitors alike. Keep in mind that island life comes with seasonal pests like mosquitoes. To help keep them at bay, our properties receive professional pest control treatments every month. Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. Service interruptions will not qualify for any discounts or reimbursements.

GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.

Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $50 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out.

The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

This property is managed by Sand Key Vacation Rentals. We are located at 221 W. Avenue A Suite 6 in Port Aransas. We are open 9 - 5 Monday - Sat and 10 - 3 on Sunday. Our hours in the Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are 9-6 Monday-Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday. Please get in touch with our office if you need assistance.

No sleep

Never have I offered a complaint about one of my Verbo rentals… and admittedly, my choices are usually on a more expensive rental; however, I have never experienced such an uncomfortable bed - ever. In an effort to possibly improve renters experience a terrible poorly fiopad was put on top of a bad mattress .

Management Experience

The management company sent us to the wrong property and when I finally had contact , was told I would get a call back and never received a call…had to figure out where I was staying on my own! Finally got a call on check out day and was accused of still being in the property at 11:45 when we were clearly gone! Poor management!!!!

Unfortunately, never again…

Roaches (tree roaches, red roaches (in coffee pot) black roaches, and a weird beetle on the comforter) I have pics of all bugs and it was everyday. Called twice and their comment was…thanks for reminding us to go back out there to spray?!? Told them I was the only one and no pet, they did not remove pet fee. Maintenance men entered the back gate without announcing, my door was unlocked and I had just got out of shower. It’s a great property, but the lack of cleanliness due to roaches, etc., extremely poor costumer service, due to Sand Key Realty because of the indifference from the realty company due to items listed above.

We checked in easily and settled in for our week long stay. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the next day. We realized it was a colder than usual for Port A but the cottage had no heat, no TV service and no hot water. We called the office in the morning and they brought 2 small space heaters but with no water etc we asked to be relocated to another rental unit with no issues. They were unable to accommodate us and agreed to refund our money. We have used this management company previously and will do so in the future. The owner agreed to also refund our money.

Excellent Little Cottage

My husband and I booked this little cottage for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was exactly as described and more than I expected. The property was very clean and smelled great when we checked in. The yard, both front and back, were very well manicured. The additional cabana was amazing even though it was cold and rainy the whole week we were there. The entire backyard is fenced very well; it kept my dachshund in without fear of him being able to escape as many of the other fences in the same community aren't as secure for small dogs. The two TVs both had a Roku device where you can login to your streaming services. The TV in the living room/kitchen area has cable, as well. Wi-Fi was snappy so streaming on the Roku and browsing the web on our phones was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I drink tea every morning and was pleasantly surprised when I found a kettle in the cabinet. The coffee pot worked as expected so my husband could have his morning coffee. The location is excellent. Port Aransas isn't a very large area, but there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. There's a ton of shopping nearby, too. Beach access is super easy to get to. Check-In and Check-Out were really easy - the property had a lockbox where we both retrieved and secured the key. The only negatives were that the shower was on the small side with a low-ish showerhead, and the bed was a bit soft for our taste. These two things didn't really affect our stay as we were still able to shower, it just took a bit getting used to. We still slept great as the bed is very comfy, just a bit soft for our taste. Overall: 10/10 would stay here again.

Unique cottage

A great out of the ordinary place to stay and relax. Clean. Comfy mattress. Nice functional kitchen. Quiet complex, walking distance to restaurants, etc. The cabana is awesome! Will hopefully be back.

Port A Stay

The cottage stay was very affordable, the facility clean and tidy. The use of the screened outdoor living area was perfect. I would recommend this stay to anyone. The location of the property is within easy walking distance of restaurant and shopping areas. As a side, Renting a golf cart is a definite plus as you can access all of the beaches. At $100 a day, it was well worth the price of admission.

Palm Breeze Cottage

This property was amazing! The backyard and the cabana was our favorite. The backyard is enclosed and was perfect for our dog. The pictures online do this place justice! Also, the bed was super comfy. We almost didn’t want to get out of it! Only a 2 minute drive from the beach. Everything is within 5 minutes of the cottage. The supermarket, restaurants and it’s even right next to an ice cream shop! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Very clean & great location

This cottage was in the perfect location close to everything. It was very clean. However the bed was terrible it had no support and sank in the middle. The couch wasn’t much better. The last thing is the toilet seat needs to be replaced it is peeling. Overall this was a good stay but with a few upgrades it would be a great stay!

Cute Bungalow

After an initial fail with communication regarding sending me the number for the lockbox, my voicemail was answered quickly. Adequate parking and great outdoor space for our dog. King bed however was a bit soft and depressed in the center so there was a tendency to roll to the middle. A/C units worked great! The screened porch area was great and the non-functional overhead lights were repaired quickly after informing the realty company. Note: if you have a very small dog, 15 lbs or less, it will be able to escape through the alternating boards in the fence. If you have a larger dog with prey-drive, they could easily break through the thin plastic screen in the screened porch area. We had to keep our dog on a leash with in the screened porch area, so he couldn’t break through the plastic screens to get to the laughing gulls, grackles, and neighboring dogs.
