The Retro Inn is a nice, clean bit of nostalgia. This was a great place to stay for a couple of nights while we visited Mesa Verde National Park. It is also convenient to restaurants in Cortez. We will defined stay there again if in the area.

Retro Inn is cute. The staff was friendly and the rooms are decorated for the year the room is numbered for. Ours was 1979. The yard needs some maintenance and love but Elvis in the front yard is fun.

What a cute and friendly place! They told us that they served a continental breakfast, but the had delicious hot burritos for breakfast among the usual options. What a treat! Would have enjoyed staying longer.

Whenever we're in Cortez, we stay here, because it's not a chain, colorful, and relaxed. This time we stayed in the Clint Eastwood Room, where his photo was on the lime green walls. I'd like a little more furniture (no easy chair or desk), but I think the space comes in handy if you have kids. The grounds are lovely, and there's a dog walk.
