“Wir verbrachten 2 wunderschöne u. erholsame Wochen in der Filla la fragola. Das Haus bietet alles was es braucht und vor allem der Garten u. der Pool lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist trotz der sehr ländlichen Umgebung gut an die Infrastruktur angebunden. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten im kleinen Ort Chianacce und mit dem Auto kann man alle nähergelegenen Städte, Ausflugsziele etc. erreichen. ”

“Very thoughtfully restored old Villa just minutes from Cortona . The house and grounds are exactly as pictured. The very private road that leads there is a bit rough and seems very remote at first but after you venture out once you see that every convenience is minuets away and beautiful Cortona as well. A car is a good idea if you plan to go around Tuscany. 2 trains in town go everywhere but it helps to get to train and town with a car. The host is very responsive and hands on.”

“Casa le celle is a rustic farmhouse, unpretentious but full of character, located in beautiful surroundings at the end of a valley. It is surrounded on three sides by high ground the slopes of which are given over to olive groves, woodland and scrub. Casa le Celle is ideally suited to those that enjoy being in a quiet, rural location and who appreciate the natural environment. We received a friendly welcome from the owner, Mauro, who lives close by and who was a very helpful host throughout……

“Cortona is amazing and both Giovanni and his brother Rinaldo were excellent hosts. Quick to answer questions and address any problems that came up (I accidentally got locked out at one point, and luckily Rinaldo lives in the downstairs apartment). I highly recommend. ”

“My husband and I cannot say enough about this villa! The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It is about a 30 minute drive from main city centre in Cortona. The nearest train station we used was Camucia. We would recommend renting a car to have to drive around the area and surrounding areas. Otherwise, it will be hard to get around. We would drive our car and park it at the Camucia train station and then take the train to Florence and Rome, etc. It was amazing staying in this……

“The home is beautiful: Wonderfully decorated and lovingly cared for. Views are amazing; Caretakers are lovely and we all fell in love with Zorro the Dog. My only complaint is that the beds were only box springs and could have been more comfortable.”
